Passionate fans of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a barricade and seized the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the Australian man shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers showed that he was due to appear on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram profile contains clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is evidently a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Fans Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others called for digital services to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Many of supporters had assembled in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it began.

The movie, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual version of the popular stage production Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two very different witches.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, securing several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
