The Gunners' ten-match winning run was ended by Sunderland before the international break, however can the English top division leaders bounce back against local foes Tottenham this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still manage to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of special visitors.
In the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest record, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.
Murs is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid games down the years - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy decides to play instead."
Murs and his spouse his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be managing their Saturday football side," he added.
"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their offense is now more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, though. Burnley are well organised and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
It smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
Bournemouth have lost their past two matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, the Hammers secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' sole on the road victory this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - can the Hammers extending their run under their manager, or the home side responding?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
The Bees were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a few observers under their manager and are in good form with three in their past four matches.
A family member told me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to pick him or back Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had much success on the road this term, and Brighton are consistently decent at their stadium. The visitors will try to hit them on the break but I think the home manager's side pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
The singer's prediction: This could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually proves to be rather close. 1-1
AI's prediction: 2-1
It is a huge fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six games.
They have have lots of talent in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a relegation fight.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League campaign so far.
The away side's performance in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated the Blues at the end of last month.
But I am not going to do that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's home form, the only team they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a bad run... but they have nonetheless been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
This is a tough fixture to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
