The City boss confessed experiencing "embarrassment" after an exchange with a camera operator subsequent to the Citizens' loss at Newcastle on Saturday.
At full time, a visibly upset Guardiola stepped onto the field and had heated discussions with the referee, Sam Barrott and Newcastle’s Bruno Guimarães, while also handling the broadcast crew's equipment.
"I said sorry," Guardiola stated. "I'm humiliated, regretful, when I see it. I don’t like it. I immediately apologized to the operator. I am who I am. After 1,000 games I’m not a perfect person, I make huge mistakes."

He wouldn't mind if an opposition manager addressed his squad right after the final whistle. "Not if it's respectful like I always have done, it's fine," he noted, mentioning the referee. "The referee was involved throughout the match, constantly. Goodness, he was involved."
The team felt aggrieved that the officials denied a spot-kick on a Schär tackle against Foden, and doubted if Guimarães was offside on Barnes' goal the decisive strike. Subsequent images show he was level.
He will manage his century in Europe versus Leverkusen this week. "It’s quite good, showing we compete annually," he commented.
The club has ten points from four matches in the group, while Leverkusen have five.
