Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca stated on the final weekday that Cole Palmer is ready to play for the squad's vital top-flight match against local opponents Arsenal.
The young English international had been sidelined due to a broken toe suffered after an unfortunate incident.
“He is available to start and to play,” Maresca declared. “All involved are pleased.”
In the current campaign, Palmer has been limited to four outings in all tournaments, netting two goals.
After joining from City in 2023, he has notched 45 strikes and 29 setups in 101 matches for the London club.
“He is our best player, we are delighted he is back, we need to allow him time to be completely ready,” Maresca added. “He has done fantastic in the past and no doubt he is going to do very good for this club in the future.”

However, the appeal against the red card was turned down, and Gueye must serve a three-match ban, making Everton depleted for their next match against Newcastle United.
“We have appealed it and our appeal was turned down,” coach the manager revealed. “We haven’t been given any reason why it was turned down but we did appeal it.”
When asked about any further fallout from the event, Moyes continued: “The matter was resolved instantly, it was done, that was it, we progressed rapidly and it was all sorted within the team environment.”
The club's recent acquisition Yoane Wissa has practiced with his squad for the first time since suffering a knee injury soon after his arrival from Brentford in the autumn.
Head coach Eddie Howe confirmed the development on the end of the week but did not disclose a potential return date for the 29-year-old.
